Company, producer of sustainable technical textiles utilized to create comfort for people and savings in building economy, is looking for a candidate to support the everyday in-house design team.
The company is continuously engaging R&D projects related to installation methods, collaborations with universities and engineering companies.
The candidate should have a degree in Engineering or in Architecture, specialized in Structural Analysis and Mechanical Solutions, Composite Construction.
The main focuses of the company are public sun protection devices and building’s façades.
This is expected from the candidate:
Knowledge of foreign languages: English is a basic requirement (CEFR level: C1)
Disciplines:
a. Mechanical drawing, experience in mechanical design and calculation
b. Structural design. Metal and possibly Composites, Civil Engineering
c. Good understanding of Fluid Dynamics
Interests in: Architecture, Parametric Design
Requirements:
Advanced skills with FEM Analysis and Parametric Softwares
Knowledge of BIM is appreciated, but not essential
Software, expert user of:
CAD such as Solid Works, Autocad, Rhino or equivalent.
FEM such as Ansis, Femap, Karamba or equivalent
Parametrics: Possibly Grasshopper
The position would see the candidate working in the following areas:
A. support the in-house technical team working in conjunction with architectural teams all over the world
B. consolidate company relations with international and local universities
Attitude:
Good team player, excellent integration with the design team and with the various company’s departments
